It incorporates a 3G-SDI output that supports Full HD 1920 x 1080p video, so it is great for multi-cam shoot.

To create its fantastic image quality there are three 1/2.8" CMOS Exmor sensors. These get their image from the 20x optical zoom Sony G lens. Which also has 40x Clear Image Zoom to provide sharp and clear images. The lens is further equipped with three built-in Neutral Density filters which help control the light and vary the depth of field with iris control.

The NX5R we hire out can continuous record between two memory card slots, by automatically cycling between the dual memory slots. When using two 32GB memory cards, six hours of continuous HD footage can be recorded. The camera can record 50mb/s in its XAVC S 4:2:0 8-Bit mode.

As light is almost always a problem, this camera has a built-in LED light above the lens for when you need more illumination. the LED light features a roughly 90° beam angle. It outputs a colour temperature of about 5500K, which has an integrated dimmer.

For your audio needs there are the standard XLR inputs that support Line, mic, and mic +48 (phantom power).
