This mic is designed and is optimized for capturing vocals in lectures, conferences, speeches, and public speaking environments. It is supplied with the Samson CMB1 base. This base is weighted for support and is programmable for "Push to Talk" or "Push to Mute" operation. The base is fitted with a 10m XLR cable to connect to a desk to provide the required 48v phantom power.
