They are able to run on mains power, or have the option to run on v-lock batteries. These features combined make this a very practical kit great for a very wide variety of shoot types and locations. The do however have another interesting feature. They have adjustable flicker frequency control which makes the flicker free at high frame rates for slow motion work.
