Have a Great Shoot

Here are a few tips which can make your shoot run a little more smoothly. Cam-A-Lot has a range of consumables for sale which you can add to your booking and may help make your shoot a little easier. We have lens cleaning kits, Dust Off and the indispensable Gaffa tape.
	Check that you have every item you booked, and feel free to test or get advice on any item of gear before leaving. We also have the owner manuals available for some of the gear we hire out.
Let us know if you will be travelling with the gear so we can provide a packing solution to help make your travels easier. We can provide rigid cases and tripod bags to better protect gear while in transit.
	We are able to accept Debit and Credit card payments upon gear collection. We are a COD based company so payment either through cash, card or EFT (and proof thereof) is required before gear can be released.
You can collect your booked gear the day before your shoot from 14:00 onwards. All equipment needs to be returned the day after your shoot by 11:00am, late returns will be charged an extra day. Just the same as a rental car, equipment rented and not used will still be charged at the full rental price.
	Please do your research before using unfamiliar gear and media formats, this will also help avoid any post-production problems. Unfortunately, Cam-A lot cannot be held responsible for any loss of footage due to card or equipment failure. All solid-state media gets formatted when returned so it can go out again for the next rental. So be very sure to back up all your data from your shoot.
